All professional aircrew know how
vital regular servicing of survival equipment is to ensure it can be relied on
to function correctly in the event of an emergency. Having survival equipment
maintained and serviced regularly by qualified survival equipment fitters
ensures the prolonged life and functionality of equipment, allows vital time-lifed
items to be monitored and gives peace of mind for aircrew.
Within our centre there is a
parachute and liferaft servicing bay, along with an aircrew fitting area where
equipment is surveyed and documented. Thousands of components and spare parts
are constantly in stock to repair and service all types of survival equipment,
from basic servicing and repairs to bespoke rebuilds of original equipment to
MOD ( Ministry of Defence ) standards.
We have the equipment, knowledge
and dedication to support civilian and military survival equipment which extends
from the aforementioned parachutes to seat harnesses, liferafts, to life
preservers, survival packs to survival aids, helmets to oxygen systems, personal
flying clothing and a whole host of other life support equipment.
However,
it is not only aircraft that SES have provided Survival Equipment for.
As well as several famous explorers, SES supplied and installed all the survival
equipment and personal flying clothing equipment to Brian Jones and Bertrand Piccard for around the world balloon
challenge of the conquering Orbiter 3.
We offer an on site servicing
facility to: Police and Ambulance Units, private companies or individuals for
helmet servicing and ancillary related equipment.
We offer FREE helmet fitting to
aircrew who purchase or have their helmets and oxygen masks serviced by SES Ltd.
We can demonstrate and instruct on
the use of survival equipment, together with hands on experience.
All equipment is
FULLY TESTED AND CERTIFIED complete with appropriate documentation.
Supplied with
certificate of Serviceability.
